steaming is better. and yes many research says its keeps all its goodness in when steaming your veg.
Yes
yes steaming is best
Yep steaming is much better!!
Steaming is best for vegetables. I am a vegetarian and consulted a dietician due to lacking in iron and B12 and was told to steam vegetables as boiling evaporises alot of the good stuff!
steaming or stir fry
steaming is better - the vitamins etc dont get washed away.
I use the microwave to steam mine in - though I rarely ever add more than a teaspoon or so of water.
absolutely it does, if you boil veg do it in a small amount of water and then use the water for something (drink it maybe when its cool) otherwise the nutrients are wasted, also ensure to keep skin on veg like carrots and potatoes because that is where a lot of its nutrients are
Steam them! keeps all the goodness in!
yes invent in buying a steamer so much better for you. boiling is good too but people intend to throw out the water that they are boiled in if you could keep this & make gravy out of it or use it with stock.
yeah steaming keeps all the goodness.
Steaming is great. I like to steam carrots, broccoli and coliflower.

Steaming is better and the veg tastes so much nicer when steamed especially carrots :)
Steam is best, but I always retain the vegetable water when boiling to make the gravy when having a roast=]

anytime you soak vegetables in water?...they begin to lose their goodness!...steaming or boiling isnt so important as "The time?"...you cook them for!...ie...a cauliflower is deemed useless if cooked for more than 8 minutes!...Its also important to cut up veg in uniform sizes!...so they are all cooked at the same time!...I cook potatoes for approx.12 minutes!...and they are 'al dente'...at this point...my mum used to cook vegatables for 20 minutes!...then an hour for good luck!!!...I believe using a 'timer'is essential...cos youlle be surprised how far out your 'guessing' can be...
yes
yes its is.
sprinkle a bit salt in your green veggies
then steam. to keep your veggies stays green in color
Any method of cooking will destroy nutrients, if you really are worried about vitamins you should try making a crudite.
Steaming as it keeps the nutrients in the veg better
I boil.
Yes it does.
only boil potatoes....always steam the others. Roasting in the oven does well also.
first, you can clean the veg, then put it in hot water, about 30 seconds or more short time, you can take it out of water. the next you can Salad it!
steaming is the best ways it seals all the goodness and flavours in if you havent got a steamer add lemon juice dilute it in the hot water the sort of lemon juice you add to on pncakes, the lemon juice gives your vegetables a touch of vitamin C and keeps the vegetables not to loose there colour and texture
