I was wondering if anyone had some really delicious ideas for a wonderful romantic valentine's day dinner?!?!!

Question: My husband and I's first anniversary is this Sunday and so we are planning to go out for that, but, I wanted to do a very special romantic dinner in for Valentine's Day! This will be our first and only Valentine's together alone as a married couple! We are expecting our first child in April!!! :) We have much to be thankful for!

I think I have the Dessert picked out! I was thinking of doing a chocolate brownie topped with vannilla ice cream and Raspberries blended with Hot Fudge to top it off. But, I have no idea what to do for dinner!

Any ideas would be wonderful! I just don't want to do the normal macaroni and cheese or something he has everyday!

Side note: I am allergic to onions! :)

Thank You so much!

Parmesan Chicken for Two

2 Boneless chicken breasts
1/2 cup "Oven Fry" for Pork or chicken (No Substitutions)
1/2 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
Olive oil

Flatten chicken to about 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch thick. in a shallow bowl, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. in another bowl, beat the egg. Dip chicken into egg, then coat with crumb mixture. I use a spoon to coat chicken with the crumb mixture gently pressing crumbs onto chicken. Preheat a frying pan with about a 1/2 cup of olive oil. add more when necessary. brown on medium heat until nicely browned and juices run clear.

This is one of our favorite chicken recipes. It is very moist and full of flavor! you can add a slice of tomato on top when chicken is done, then add some mozzarella on top of that. I sometimes serve with spaghetti and a nice loaf of fresh bread. or mashed potatoes and stuffing.

Serves: 2

What about lasagna? You could do it the traditional way - or make it a little more trendy. Make your filling and roll the filling in individual lasagna noodles, top with sauce and cheese. I have other ideas too. If you want, email me with more info (i.e. likes, dislikes etc).

Well, my first thought is where are you going this weekend? If it is Italian, I would not do that unless you really like Italian. A few ideas are;
bacon wrapped filet
lobster
fetuccini carbonara (alfredo w/mushroom, peas and poccuto
Chicken marsala
duck roasted with plum sauce

start with a nice simple salad

sides
double baked potato
asparagus w hollandais sauce
wild rice w the duck
fresh green beans

remember fifty percent of a special meal is the fresh good ingredients from butcher and store and the other fifty is presentation

All of these ideas are fairly easy, would say if you can grill the steaks with a butter sauce with mrs dash and lemon brushed on over a hot hot grill so as to char a bit but cook to mr For allot of great cooking ideas ck with allrecipies.com

You can grill some chicken with wine on your terrace and listen to light soft music.

The most romantic dinner I ever had with my husband involved very litte cooking and a lot chocolate. It was a fruit and veggie arrangement with flowers and candles. We spent the night feeding each other food dipped in chocolate. I also had white chocolate, and a strawberry peserve. Add a bubbly and its a light and fun meal. But if you want to add a meat to it. stirfry some chicken in lemon and fahita spices, wrap in lettuce and walla romantic finger foods. Or you could do what he did for my birthday. Put the chicken in a bowl made of lettuce and drizzle a little sweet and sour on it. (like a slim z as the chefs that make expensive desserts do.)
