Steaming veggies - need seasoning advice asap!?!

Question: I have baby zuchinni squash, baby carrots, and baby corn I want to steam together in a new ziploc bag. What seasonings, and how much, should I add for flavor? What about ground ginger? Help!

If you want to make them out of this world, gently steam them in the ziploc bag until not quite done and then lightly saute them in a little butter with garlic powder and sea salt. Slice them, leaving their tops intact and fan them out on your plate.

Yummm! I had that in a fancy restaurant and they were to die for.

Vegetables & Herbs
Sweet Potatoes - nutmeg or cinnamon
Potatoes -garlic and basil, mint and sage
Squash (orange) -thyme, basil and rosemary
Squash (yellow) -basil, parsley and oregano
Cabbage -cilantro and cumin
Carrots -cumin, sage, ginger
Corn -marjoram or sage, dill seed & thyme, basil and rosemary
Broccoli -basil and oregano (with tomatoes)
Peas -thyme, mint
Beans -oregano and basil, onion and garlic (add chopped nuts)
Egg Plant -Basil and parsley
Leeks -Garlic and ginger
Asparagus -Tarragon, basil (add tomatoes and cheese)
Brussell Sprouts -Parsley and Garlic (add walnuts, orange zest with sweet peppers)
Beets -ginger and cinnamon (add lemon juice to retain color)
Spinach -Basil and garlic, Dill and lemon

I'd add a 1/4 teaspoon of oregano or herbs de Provence

A little red pepper, lots of garlic, marjoram, a pinch of salt and a little pat of butter. Yummy! You could even dice up an onion and add it to the mix.
