Yes that's o.k. but don't use extra virgin unless you want an after taste. The cheaper O.oil is fine for cooking. Use the extra virgin for your salads and dressings.

olive oil cornola oil are both healthy

using olive oil is better
but you cant beat the taste of fried onions !!

Olive Oil is mono-unstaturated fat. In moderation, monounsaturated fats are necessary and they're part of a healthy diet. We all know onions are healthy - all veggies are. Sauteeing onions in olive oil - it's good!

yes. EVOO!! : )

HealthiER than using butter, lard or dripping. Frying is never healthy, avoid as much as you possible can.

Those oils are healthier on salads etc, but for cooking I have heard that the composition of the oil changes when it gets to a certain temperature, which makes it not so good or healthy for frying with.

as long as you use a good olive oil its got to be better that veggie oil of sunflower oil. I fry allsorts with olive oil and am healthy. some of the cheaper olive oils ( ones from refined olive oils) you can get are just as bad as normal oil, or so I am told. Onions just have to be fried :)

Using olive oil is better and healthy than the oil uses for chips and fried battered breadcrumbed fish and things.But using onions with it is perfectly normal and healthy.

Yes it is a good way to have them.

Yes, try Rape seed oil it's even healthier, and with delicate tasting food is harder to taste
