Does adding fresh lemon juice or bottled lemon juice to water take away from its pureness?!

Question: I have been drinking tons of water each day, but I am so tired of the bland and bitter taste of water. If I add some fresh lemon juice or lemon juice from the bottle, will that take away from the pureness of the water? Does it affect its nutritional value? What about flavored waters (i.e. peach).

Most flavored waters are sweetened with fake sugar. Which science has not proven to be safe. I would suggest staying with bottled or better yet a Brita filter on a tap. I would add fresh lemon slices to the bottle. It helps freshen the taste and adds pretty much nothing. Watch out you don't use too much becasue the acid will eventually eat the enamel on your teeth. Don't worry about it though you probably couldn't drink enough to make that happen.

***Dasani is glorified tap water.

No. It will not affect it in any way. Lemon juice IS water and it is natural and pure. (Unless they used pesticides on the lemons)

No, just a little flavouring.

no it wont, but it is an excellent natural way of cleansing the body

No it does not effect the pureness
it adds to the nutritional value
i would recomened sparkling water or propel

Try Dasani bottled water. It is good and you can get it cheaply at sam's club. Any thing that you add to water takes away from the purity, but Dasani tastes good and can even be drinken warm .

no it won't change the water at all but it is a very welcome flavor change and if you put orange, lime and lemon slices in your water you get a nice citrus mix to drink! yum! :-)

Adding lemon will not hurt or any other citrus. It can actually add some nutritional value. Fruit is naturally good for you. Flavored water is okay but plain ol water with some fruit you add yourself is better. Taste wise I think. And science has found that sweetener as someone else said is harmful. It is harmful to the lab rats they pump into their bodies constantly. The levels lab rats receive is nothing to what you will ever consume. So if you would like to try the flavored waters go for it.
