First, fill a pot with water then cover it with a lid. It goes faster if you use hot tap water. If you are cooking with it, like noodles, you will want to put about half a teaspoon of salt and drizzle some oil in the water. Also if you are cooking in it you will want to leave room in your pot to put your food in. If you are just wanting to boil it, don't put in the salt or oil. Turn the stove on high and when it comes to a boil, turn it down a bit so it won't boil over.

Fill a pot with water (whatever amount is desired) and put it on the stove on HIGH until it begins to boil. Put a lid on top for quicker results.

how do you boil water???? lol put it on a stove top

Very carefully place some water in a medium saucepan add a sprinkle of salt and turn heat up to High, when water begins to bubble you have accomplished the task.

get a pot..our water on it..turn up the stove and wait until the water boils.it boils when it turns really bubbly.then its ready so you turn off the stove.specific enough?

You need two sticks of dynamite, one box of Bisquick, three paper clips, one car bumper, & a recliner chair.

The third answer is correct. Just ignore me.

fill a glass bowl with water.
put it INTO the oven.
set it on broil for 30 minutes.

go read a book and come back when you smell something funny.

put water in a pot, put it on the stove on high. (putting a lid on the pot will make it boil faster.

fill kettle with water (dont over fill it though) and put it on stove until it whistles.

if you have an electric kettle, fill w/ water, plug kettle in, push button and wait till you hear it bubbling. Some have automatic shutoff though. quickest, easiest, and safest way to boil water

If you have a tall thick glass bowl, you can also fill it w/ a lil bit of water (not too much or it'll bubble over) and put it in the microwave for probably... 5 minutes.. depends on how much water there is... you'll have to watch it and adjust. BUT DONT touch it until a minute or two after the microwave turns off, it can "blow up" on you. yeah. definitely not that safe... but at least it's quicker than a stove

oh and whatever you do, dont put a metal pot into the microwave to boil it. I've had a friend who tried to do that.....

yes...or you could just go and buy a kettle..

then fill it up with water and press the button and wait!
