Favorite ground beef casserole recipe?!
2 pounds ground beef
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
9 cups cooked wide egg noodles
1 pound process cheese (Velveeta)
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
1 can (11-1/2 ounces) condensed chicken with rice soup, undiluted
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
In a Dutch oven, cook beef, green pepper and onion until meat is no longer pink; drain. Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients.
Transfer to two greased 2-1/2-qt. baking dishes. Cover and bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes or until bubbly

Greek Mousaka
1 pound lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 medium potatoes, peeled and cooked
2 eggs
1 1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
Brown beef and onion in large saucepan. Add tomato sauce and seasonings. Bring to boil and simmer, covered , for about 20 minutes. Slice cooked potatoes about 1/4 inch thick; arrange half of them in greased casserole. Cover with meat/tomato sauce mixture and top with rest of potatoes. Beat eggs and milk together and pour over potatoes. Sprinkle with cheese and bake in 350F oven for about 45 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
Note: you can substitute ground lamb for beef.
Tater Tot Casserole and Bacon Cheeseburger Mac.
The tater tot casserole is just one can of cream of mushroom soup, fill the can up with milk and add that, a bag of frozed tater tots, browned ground beef, and a can of green beans. Put cheddar cheese on top and bake until tater tots are done and cheese is bubbly.
The bacon cheeseburger mac is so good and i just boil a bag of elbow macaroni noodles, cut a block of velveeta into cubes, add ground beef and bacon crumbles and some dijon mustard. Bake it for about 20 minutes and its great my kids love it!

Ground Beef Stroganoff:
brown 1 lb ground beef.
Add 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 Tblsp white vinegar, 1 tblsp worcestershire sauce. Mix up thoroughly. Add 1 cup sour cream. Serve over wide noodles. Yum!
For a low-fat version, use ground turkey, low-fat Cr. of M. soup and nonfat sour cream substitute.
Tater Tot Casserole
1lbs browned ground beef on bottom layer of casserole.
Top with one can of drained green beans and one can of drained mushrooms. Pour 1 can of mushroom soup mixed with a little milk over the top. Top with tater tots and bake for 30 minutes at 375. Add shredded cheese and bake a few minutes more. Yummy!
Pizza Casserole
1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
2 oz. pepperoni (diced or cut in half, if desired.)
2 cans (10 count) refridgerated biscuits
1 C Mozzerella cheese
1 C pizza or spaghetti sauce
*if desired, add 1/2 C diced green pepper, onion, mushrooms, etc.)
Preheat oven to 350. Spray a casserole dish with cooking spray. Open biscuit tubes and cut each biscuit into quarters. Place the biscuit pieces into the casserole dish. Top with the ground beef, pepperoni, veggies (if desired), and sauce. Top it off with the shredded mozzerella cheese. Cover with foil and bake for 40-45 minutes. Remove foil during last 5 minutes if desired.
My take on Shepherd's Pie:
2lbs ground beef
2 can of whole kernel corn
3 cups of cooked mashed potatoes
8-10 slices of cheese
Cook beef. Then layer corn , beef, mashed potatoes, and cheese. Cook in oven @ for 350 10 minutes or until cheese melt and the casserole is thoroughly warmed
Shepherd's Pie.
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 cup of beef stock
finely diced carrots
peas
diced onions
mashed potatoes
1 tbsp flour
butter
herbs
Brown the meat and remove from pan.
Add butter and onion. Cook til translucent.
Throw in flour and cook 2 min.
Add stock, carrots, herbs and salt and pepper to taste.
Put meat back in and cook until thickened. Add peas.
Put mixture in prepared casserole dish. Top with mashed potatoes. Season on top with whatever, such as butter, pepper, garlic etc.
Bake uncovered at 350 for about 30 min.

1 cup catsup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 (31 ounce) can pork and beans
Brown ground beef with onion. Mix all ingredients well. Pour into a casserole and bake for 30 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees F. You may put bacon on top if desired.
