I am going to bake some sea bass fillets in foil in the oven, what gas mark will i need to put them on?!
Answers: and how long?
Time will depend on their thickness.
I'd go with a gas 4-5 and around 20 minutes. They are sealed in foil so they should not dry out.
Another tip is to use BacoFoil's "Non Stick" foil. Nothing sticks to it so the fish would slide off beautifully.
If you don;t have any, lay the fish between some baking parchment inside the foil. That's also non-stick usually.
425 for about 20-25 minutes
ill-tempered sea bass with laser beams attached to their heads?
I dont know what a gas mark is really? Are you talking about temp of the oven? Hmm id guess so!! 300 to 350 id say for maybe 20 to 30mins!! One other thing you might find interesting is that i was told by a professional chef to not cook many species of fish or seafood ina closed container!! Many species including sharks pass their wastes and urine thu the skin pores!! So you should cook em in the open to allow it to boil off!!---Sorry hope i didnt ruin your din din !!
Gas mark 7 for about 20 mins - if you don't get your timing right and the fish is ready before everything else turn the oven down and the fish will still be ok.
