How to cook lasangne sheets withought them sticking together!?!


Question: right, im trying to make a lasange but when i cooked the sheets they were all stuck together and the middle ones werent cooked at all! Any ideas?

you actually don't need to boil before making lasagna. Just layer and make sure your sauce covers all exposed noddles. by the way, the reason your current batch of lasagna sheets turned out the way they did is a couple of reasons. you did not stir them at all, not enough water in the pot. You need lots of water and a deep pot to cook them if you insist on doing it that way. you may be able to salvage what you got by dropping into kettle of boiling water and stir to separate and expose undone parts. It can't hurt to try.

put sauce in the bottom of the pan and a lot of sauce in between layers...

Have A LOT of salted water in a large pot......when it reaches a hard boil drop sheets in one at a time....once they are in the pot stir them making sure they are not stuck together.some add oil...but it really isn't necessary .the trick is having enough room for them to move around...

put cottage cheese inbetween the layers

i dont cook my lasagne sheets. layer meat uncooked lasagne sheet and cheese sauce. the lasagne sheets cook in the oven
