Help....cooking a roast in the croc?!


Question: so i am making my gf a surprise dinner since i have the day off.....my only question is....i put a roast in the croc at about 11 am.......it is about 3pounds,and i have the settings on low....how long do i need to cook it untill it falls apart and is moist and melts in your mouth?....thanks

I should be just about perfect when she gets home......assuming she gets off at 5.
If your planning on serving vegetable,,,add them about 2 hours before hand when they are tender set the crock pot on the keep warm setting.....

I think you should roast a croc!!!! She'll love that!!! :)

it should be good about supper time

at least 6 hours...

I think about 8 or so hours. But check it at about 6,

i would turn it to high for an hour or two, avoid lifting the lid to check it, it drastically alters cooking time, good luck

Mind the teeth when you take it out of the croc,you should've
put it on high for the first hour but 6-8 should do it but what meat are you
cooking & what cut of meat that is very important

Around diner time. Just keep on taste testing mmmmm

I would suggest switching it to high...we cook in the crockpot at least once a week...you can check it after about 4-5 hours, and if its cooking well, you can turn it down for the last hour or 2.
