Generally if a person throws up they should wait two hours before putting anything in their stomach, yes even water. Wait for a while, then if you feel up to it, try a small amount. See if that will stay down (wait about 30 min to 1 hr) then if it stays with you try eating a little more, if you still feel hungry. Best wishes, get well soon.

if it's low sodium broth it should be fine

Chicken broth is the best thing that you should try to eat. Just have a little bit of it and eat more and more if you can keepit down.

Yes, perfect.

I have strep==bad enough that it has swollen my throat shut. I had beef broth for dinner because of the meds I had to take. Anything is better on your tummy than nothing!

Get well soon!

Chicken broth will make you feel better & also eat jello, popsicles.

Chicken broth is good...try to eat it with saltines crackers.

.

It won't make you sicker, but if you're not hungry, then put it off until tomorrow when you might be able to keep it down. If you just threw up recently, you'll probably just throw the broth up, too.

Yes. Stay hydrated, especially if you are throwing up. Ginger ale will help settle your stomach, too. There is something in chicken broth that has curative properties, also.

It's good stuff. It is very important to get lots and lots of fluids while you're sick. No matter what form the liquid is in.

I don't eat it, but my husband does when he is sick with the flu and he saids it is fine. It shouldn't make you sick. IF it does then go on clear liquids for 24 hours and eat jello and drink sprite or water. That is what I do.

Nothing is going to make you sicker in terms of the flu. As far as throwing up again, the only way to know is to try it. One of the big risks of the flu is getting dehydrated, so try to take some kind of liquids. Go to the store and get Pedialyte if you have to.

It will help keep you nourished...also, try some crackers with it.

If you just threw up, it might make you sick again. Try sipping some water first. You're probably dehydrated anyway.

If you can keep the water down, then you can try the chicken broth if you really want it. It's OK to just leave your stomach empty until you feel better.

Yes, Chicken broth is good for an upset stomach and try some saltine crackers with it. they are both light and will sit well and the crackers will be more filling then just the broth

Perfectly fine, but try it in small portions first. You might also want to try some white soda (like Sprite). Apparently this is primarily a midwestern thing for the flu, but trust me it helps.

yes

Yes. I always give my family chicken broth when they have colds or flu like symptoms. I make Egg-Drop Soup, which they love.

It's perfect. It's warm, soothing, hydrating, nourishing, and if you do vomit it up, the taste won't be that different from when you ate it.

Yes chicken broth is fine also try to eat a few saltine crackers or dry toast. Also fi you are puking try to keep yourself hydrated by drinking as much water as you can.

Also 7-up or sprite wichever one you prefer is good at calming an upset stomach, just don't drink down a bottle at a time. Do a few sips at a time.

for a bad stomach, I would say plain saltine crackers, and a bit of a light soda (colorwise that is, like 7-up, sprite or ginger ale). That is good for morning sickness, and I have NEVER been so sick as then.
