What are some other 'cooler' spices like dill weed?!

Question: I really like the taste of the spice dill or dillweed, and I was wondering, what are some other spices that have more of that 'cooler' taste, as opposed to most, which have a spicy taste.

They don't have to taste anything like dill, just things that taste more 'cool' rather than hot.

dill is really an herb not a spice...something that may have the same sharpness to it is cilantro...not hot...it's sharp...like dill...sweeter...basil, tarragon....thyme and rosemary are heartier...parsley is light just gives a bit of freshness...i hope this helps.

well, your question made me think of herbs that go well in a cold dip, such as parsley, basil, chives, green onion tops, thyme, and oregano.

Ginger
Cinamon
Garlic Powder
Parsley
Sage
Basil
Oregano
Thyme

Cilantro, thyme, basil

Dill, Basil, Mint, Rosemary, Star anise. Those are just a few.

parsley
some mint's
fennel
celery seed
ginger

Cooler spices are Lettuce Leaf Basil - not Thai which is strong and can be spicy; Thyme, French Tarragon, Italian Flat Leaf Parsley (Curly Parsley can have a bite to it), some Oregano, and Sage.
