Can I make a REALLY SIMPLE shepherds pie with these ingredients?!

Question: I have the following items available. Can you tell me a way to use some (or all) of them to make a very simple "shepherds pie" bake? I'm looking for basic comfort food.

1lb raw ground beef
4 cups left over mashed potatoes
1 can corn
1 bag frozen peas
1 can beef broth
1 box stove top stuffing
1 can mushroom pieces

I also have the kitchen/pantry basics. Thanks!!

Do shepherds eat pie?
Sure cook up your beef, drain fat off, mix broth with stuffing, mix all but the mashed potatoes together. Put them over top of it all. Better yet, if you could find some sour cream to mix in with the potatoes, then they wouldn't have that leftover taste.

Cook your ground beef, preferrably with onion, salt and pepper (season salt if you have it works great). Drain and put in a casserole dish with your vegetables. I prefer a thicker stew-type, so mix 1 T cornstarch with your broth and pour over top. Top with mashed potatoes. You can put your stuffing in, but I'd save it for another day. If you have cheese, you can sprinkle cheese on top. Bake at 350 until it's nice and bubbly.

Im not sure where the stuffing would fit in .but,...the rest seems like the makings for a good shepherds pie.....
I put potatoes on the bottom and top when I have enough...4 cups would be plenty for that......

Sure you can, I would leave out the stuffing, cook some onions with the beef, drain off the fat, sprinkle in a little flour and maybe some parsley or rosemary, then add the broth cook til it thickens 5 minutes, then add the the vegs and top with mashed taters. Mumm good stuff, I'm hungry. Whens dinner?

I think you have all you need to make a cottage pie.

(shepherd's pie is made with lamb or mutton)

i would use everything except the stuffing. all the ingredients you have would make a good pie.

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Place the potatoes into a saucepan and fill with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, then cook over medium heat until tender enough to pierce with a fork, about 10 minutes.

Drain and mash with butter and milk to your desired texture.

Meanwhile, crumble the ground beef into a large skillet.

Cook and stir until no longer pink. Season with
Worcestershire sauce(optional) and beef broth. Add the mushrooms and onion; continue to cook and stir until tender.

Transfer the contents of the skillet to a large casserole dish.

Mix the peas, corn, and stove top stuffing and mix with beef. Dollop big blobs of mashed potatoes over the top and carefully spread evenly to cover the entire top. Rake over it with a fork to create a crispy texture on top when it browns.
Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until the top is browned and crisp.

Hope your meal is delicious
