What is the difference between bologna and salami???!

I agree it does taste like crap to me also. But bologna just has a completly different texture from salami its more shiny & slippery sort of. Salami's nothing like that if you go to your deli section you can get salami chipped which is really thin sliced salami you can't do that with bologna. I love making turkey & salami sandwiches, bologna just doesn't taste right to me if have a taste test you can test the difference. You can cook then the same way in the microwave, stovetop. There both from the sausage family

bologna tastes like crrraaaap.

both almost made from the same process but quality on salami is better than bologna and also salami is air dried of meat [pork,goat,lamb or beef]
