Answers: they are beef and deer. i unthawed a pack of what i guess is deer tenderloin. anyone have a good and simple recipe? i have two pieces about 1 pound each.
You could make lots of things with venison. Chili, I think, would be the best tasting.

Either way, I highly recommend using the left overs to make venison bacon and venison jerky. They are both delicious.
