PORK STEAK
Pork Steak
Cut meat in two and makelittle slits in the meat around all sides. Salt and Pepper to taste.
Fry in melted butter with sliced onion around meat on high (Keep turning meat after browning each side).
Remove onion before it becomes browned and put fresh onion in the pan with the next batch.
Don't put no more than 2 or 3 pieces of pork steak in frying pan at a time.
Note: You can turn heat down a little to Medium, but not for long. Pork needs to be cooked all the way through
Stuff them with whatever kind of veggie and cheese you like (spinach/feta, mozz/sun dried tomato, etc). Then grill!

Grill them soaked in Italian Dressing or just some good BBQ sauce. Sweet Baby Ray's Chipotle is my favorite.
Pan fried.....Add a cup of water at the end of frying... simmer and scrape pan for drippings.... to really make so tender. Add some cream of mushroom, chicken or celery soup.....simmer another few minutes.... serve with rice or mashed potatoes...... and serve with green beans and corn bread.
Lightly brown the pork steaks and add all or part of a jar of 505 Green Chile Sauce. Simmer for 10 - 15 minutes or so. Serve with warm flour tortillas. Yummo!
Wet your palm, shake off excess water, rub it with salt and shake off the excess salt before you rub the meat using your hand - this will ensure the meat will not have too much salt. Sprinkle the meat with Mrs Dash's Garlic and Herbs spices. Let the meat stand for 2 hours before shallow fried in pan with medium heat. Cover the pan to ensure cook through and retaining the juice of the meat. Turn the meat over to cook the other side from time to time.
Put pork steaks in large baking pan sprayed with Pam. Sprinkle with chicken bouillon granules. Add a little water to pan, & cover with foil. Bake 1-1 1/2 frs at 350. Uncover & bake til done . The pan drippings (add water if you need to) make a great gravy. The meat will be fork-tender, & salted. You won't need to add ANY salt> After you've done it once, you'll be able to judge how much of the granules to put on. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes & I like Italian green beans.
