Do you mix the instant vanilla pudding in the fruit dip recipe?!

Question: It may sound like a stupid question, but I gotta do this for a project, and I looked up the recipe, and all it said was 1/2 a box of instant vanilla pudding, and I was wondering if yu are supposed to actually make the pudding first. If you have any other recipes for this, they are welcome too =] Thank ya.

If it says to put in 1/2 box of instant vanilla pudding, then you just put in the pudding mix without making it first. Whatever other wet ingredients you use will dissolve the mix, leaving behind the yummy, creamy vanilla-ness.

If there are other ingredients that are wet, like Cool Whip, no.

That depends on what recipe you were seeing! But if you just want to make a vanilla-flavored fruit dip, then no, you don't need to make the pudding first; just mix the pudding powder in the yogurt or whip cream and mix well. Its only for the flavor.

Hope this helps!
