What can i eat with fish fri my diet?!
Answers: im on a serious diet of fish for a month, my basis is cod or whatever fish i can get my hands on, however i cannot cook to at all, so far ive had broccoli, mushrooms red peppers or i mix some tomato and cucumber up with dressing and make a relish, this is getting REALLY boring, the fish is tastless even with lemon juice (what can i do) i can't have a big plate of anything to go with he fish, but does anyone know of any quick ways to spruce up fish without the calories, anything to add flavour any spices or sauses, i would love to know some recepes to add a quick touch to the plate. Thanks for your help
you can use italian dressing to place on the fish before baking or broiling for added flavor..a tbsp would be fine
olive oil, balsamic vinegar & thyme, salt/pepper to taste are a good alternative as well.
adding things like capers, olives, onion garlic can give a really good boost of flavor as can broths like veggie broth or stock or even wine.
Place fish in aluminum foil with Olive oil, garlic, basil, and tomato, close foil pack, bake or grill until done. Taste good and not fattening at all.
bread your fish with bread crumbs or crushed corn flakes and bake it
you can marinade it with any thing from the marinade aisle of your grocery store, i like lawrys- lime cilantro and garlic and herb are both great
you can serve it with rice, wheat pasta or cous cous too
If you are careful spray your pan with cooking spray and fry it a little.Spray again add lemon pepper or cajun seasoning.
Finish off in the oven wrapped in foil.At least you'll have a different texture to it,instead of just being baked.
Make poormans lobster.
Simmer it in a little water with pickling spice and lemon.
Seeing how you can't dip it in butter, sprinkle it with seasoned salt or your favorite seasoning when serving.
Stir fry it with some spinach&garlic.Use the cooking spray and cover it...again if your careful and not in a hurry,it will turn out.You can add a little water or broth...
lemon pepper, soul seasoning, bay leaf, broil fish, steam fish, hot sauce, cook in beer alcohol will burn off. rosemary,
My favourite ways for white fish, or tuna. is to cook it, flake it, place in an ovenproof dish, add chopped onion, herbs and freshly ground black pepper. Cover with either a plain sauce or cheese sauce, top with mashed potato, decorate with sliced tomato and bake in a hot oven until brown.
If you use a plain sauce, you can grate some cheese over the potato.
You can also add sliced mushrooms with the onion, or put in a layer of spinach.
