Is boil in bag rice, the same type of regular rice, but just packaged in a boilable bag? If it is couldnt?!

Question: they just sell resealable rice bags?

Answers: they just sell resealable rice bags?

It is not the same uncooked. It is pre-cooked and then dried out so it takes less time to cook the second time around. It's basically the same as minute rice. Where one takes a few minutes to cook, other take several. Make sure you don't remove it from the bag or cook it longer than directed. However, cooked it's the same.

My guess is, yes.

yes it is the same

It's the same thing. You don't actually have to have rice in a bag to boil it...I imagine that's why they don't sell resealable bags.

The rice has been pre-cooked. You are simply reheating it in the bag.

No, boil in the bag rice is parboiled or converted rice. Totally different than regular long grain rice.
