Ever crave something, eat it and then get disappointed. I just had that feeling having Campbells Tomatoe soup!

Question: Yes...in fact everytime I want tomato soup I'm bummed afterwards, like it didn't quite hit the spot.

Answers: Yes...in fact everytime I want tomato soup I'm bummed afterwards, like it didn't quite hit the spot.

Absolutely!

I once craved sex. Then a girl slapped me when I asked for some and now I'm under house arrest.

You should have had a grilled cheese, too. Nothing beats THAT combo. :-)

At least Campbell's tomato soup is a healthier alternative to junk foods! To answer your question, yes. I'm a sucker for an Orangena and Cheez-its.

Not so much since menopause. PMS?

Yeah. A restaurant nearby has this wonderful tomato bisque. I bought some regular tomato soup and it was a total bust.

Yes but never with Campbells tomato soup. Too yummy.

yes!
i seem to crave cheesecake a lot, and i hate cheesecake. makes me really want to like it. so i will order a piece take one bite and be over it. bla.

YES! but usually i dont even end up fulfilling my cravings... so they just sort of... wear away so to say. lol

Tinned soup is always a disappointed. Actually anything in tins is. Though baked beans on toast with chilli flakes and sour cream can sometimes be good.

That seems to happen to me with the foods I crave the most!

I try to keep my diet healthy during the week, but during the weekend, I allow myself to have the foods I really crave, stuff like pizza, cheeseburgers, etc. I call them my cheat meal.

But after I'm done, it's weird . . . they just don't fill the expectations I set during the week, when I'm trying so hard to eat healthier.

You would think that would stop me from eating them . . . but no, I'm still looking forward to eating the good stuff this Friday night and Saturday! ;)

I guess that's why it's important to exercise regularly . . . then I can eat off my schedule, even if it isn't exactly what I want, and stay on track.

Sorry about the tomato soup . . . I love that stuff, too (kind of a pattern with me).

Yes, that happens to me all the time.

I remember I was 13 and on vacation with my family in the Rocky Mountains. We had been sightseeing, it was a cool, rainy day and we were returning to our camper. I was famished (as often happens when a person is 13 years old...) and I was very, very hungry for Spaghetti-o's! Mom fixed them for me. Mouth watering, I took my first bite and -- they just weren't as good as I had been imagining all afternoon! So that was a big disappointment for me, even though I never told my mom!

Heck, make your own homemade soup -- that will be much more satisfying than a canned soup complete with preservatives! ;)

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!!!!!!!
Especially with soups! UGH! don't get me started about soups. First you get hungry and crave something. Then you look inside a cabinet and see some cambell soup. Your thinking of how delightful its gonna be and so you warm it up. When its all nice and hot you get a spoon and take a sip. ITS TOTALLY NOT WHAT YOU EXPECTED! But you dont want to waste your food so you eat it all. And when you are full you are so disapointed that you wasted your time to eat on some soup then something delicious. Then again it is healthy so you dont have anything to be guilty!

not often ,usually if I'm craving something it hits the craving

I love tomato soup with a dollup of sour cream and Fritos on the side---or in it!

Yes I have that happen to me all the time. I really drives me nuts. I think part of the reason why it isn't satisfying to me is becuase I always geta craving when I can't have it right away, then I really build my hopes up just to have them crushed.

Yes! It happens to me from time to time. Its always a bummer.
