If a recipe calls for corn oil ...?!

Question: can vegetable oil be used instead, with the same results? Or how will the final product differ?

Answers: can vegetable oil be used instead, with the same results? Or how will the final product differ?

There will be no difference. Corn oil has no strong flavor of its own. Corn, canola and vegetable oil are often used alternately.

It wont differ at all, ive done it several times.....

I think it wont matter. Any refined oil would bring in same result.

:-)

not a problem with corn, vegetable or canola oil the taste won't change much but first pressed olive and peanut oils tends to give a nutty taste with the final product.

don't worry a recipe can always be changed to suit your palate. enjoy!

Yes...you can.
Happy Baking!!!
