Its not so much bad, but they say that alot of the nutrients are cooked away by it.

yes its bad coz of the rays. I think any artificial method should be adapted in limited qty .

Yes. Only if you dont have it covered. The radiation from the microwave has been said to cause cancer.

Yes. It's horrible it radiation food, etc. and takes out all the nutrients. In some countries they actually band ANYONE from useing them, in their country.... I would not recommend using one often.

Cooking food in microwave is highly not recommended. The rays that go through the food destroy its nutritive and healthy things. So using microwave should be maximally reduced, only in case you're really in a hurry.

Oh goodness no! It's not possible to bake a regular cake or loaf of bread in an ordinary microwave, but just about anything else cooks just as well, and no, there is not a greater loss of the food's nutritional value if it's microwaved.

no

Contrary to popular belief, microwave cooking destroys/removes as much nutrient from food as does most other cooking processes that involve heat. As a matter of fact, cooking in a microwave can reduce the loss of nutrients in foods.

Also, the "rays" in no way irradiate the food - the energy does not stay in the food. Microwave ovens are perfectly safe to use provided that the design of the oven does not permit the leakage of dangerous quantities of radiated energy (there are devices used to measure this radiated energy).

Don't listen to all the "fear mongers" - do some research for yourself. You will find that their fears are baseless & microwave cooking is not only safe but more energy efficient than using a standard stove/oven etc.
