Baked pastas?!
Cooked ziti covered with tomato sauce (probably canned), mushrooms, zucchini, then topped with shredded cheeses (Parmesan, Mozzarella, Provolone, and Romano) and a dash of Italian spices.
Any suggestions? (We're vegetarian)
Answers: Is there any way to go wrong? I couldn't find any recipes online that I liked so I figured I'd make one up. Does this recipe sound ok?

Hello,
This sounds great, however I do have some small ideas that you may want to try:
When heating your canned sauce over the stove, add crushed garlic and wine for extra flavor.Other than that, your recipe sounds delicious!
Baked Ziti
Ingredients
1/2 lb ziti pasta
16 ounces ricotta cheese
3 cups mozzarella cheese , grated
3 cups spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup parmesan cheese , grated
Directions
1Preheat oven to 350.
2Boil ziti, following package directions, drain and place in a large bowl.
3Mix all the ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella with the ziti.
4Spray a 13x9 pan with Pam.
5Cover the bottom half of the pan with about half the sauce.
6Put the ziti mixture on top of sauce.
7Pour remaining sauce on top of ziti.
8Sprinkle with the parmesan cheese.
9Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
10Bake for 20-30 minutes until cheese is melted and it is lightly golden.
Yes! Sounds good!! i am making something similar tonight for my valentine! I like to add some fresh basil at the end...Enjoy!
I might add some garlic and basil, oregano or something to make it a bit more Italian but it sounds good to me. When do we eat.
