How long will cooked pasta in pasta sauce last in the fridge?!

Question: I'm just wondering, because it would save a lot of time for me if I could just boil a big batch ahead of time, and then mix it in some pasta sauce and put it in individual sized containers...then I just need to microwave for a minute and it's done, tasting almost as good as new.

I'm just wondering how long it would last...my guess is 4-5 days after cooking it.

3-5 days would be my recommendation if it is properly sealed in an airtight container

Pasta freezes really well...but can go sour in just a few days in the fridge....
just cook a batch up and freeze in serving portions... 2 mins in the Microwave should do the trick then use it as you wish.

You're right, 4-5 days is about right ... and you can also freeze it. Make sure the pasta & sauce are completly cooled before you package it ... or the sauce will overcook the pasta.

Until it gets the green fuzzy stuff on it.

Pasta is so easy and quick, but is even better ahead of time. I have made meals and frozen them, tjey seem to be good up to 6 months later. I like to put the stuff into freezer bags.

wat a coinsidence i had pasta a few deys ago and you are allowed to leave it in thr for 3-4 deys with ta pasta in ta sauce.

I would agree, about 4-5 days. Or you could put the pasta and sauce in seperate containers, then mix them right away before throwing it in the microwave. Be just as good, and pasta wouldn;t get to soggy. I would recomend plain pasta in a resealable bag though.
