Soya oil for cooking?!

Question: I sent hubby out to get basic sunflower oil and he came back with soya oil by mistake (similar packaging apparently!!!)

I used it anyway last night and it seemed ok, but my question is, is soya oil ok to shallow fry with? I have never used it before and wondered if there is any difference

I use it for shallow and deep frying.
It has an advantage over sunflower which is a "drying oil" and tends to leave a sticky, hard to remove residue in frying baskets. Soya doesn't.
Rape seed oil is good, too.

sure we use it all the time for cookin & fryen

We have tried lots in our time and found Rape seed oil the best as it dose not splash as much as other frying products.

no diffreance
