I'm constantly hungry!?!

Question: Being an adolescent I am absolutely STARVING most of the time and my parents don't really make that big of meals. i eat tons of snacks because of it. I like to hanve sandwhiches. I just wish I could have some recipes that would actually fill me up. the only food that fills me up is usually dinner because it usually involves some kind of meat (protein). I'm kind of a pciky eater, but if you could give me recipes that would fill me up that would be great. I don't like tomatoes, pickles, olives, guacamole, wine or alcohol (I don't drink), and i think that covers some. Thank you!

i have the SAME problem! i eat cereal, a banana, and an orange every morning and by lunch time i could eat everything in my sight.. then when i get home from school i feel like i want to eat everything in my house. then i have dinner and i'm full for about an hour then i'm hungry again. i think maybe you need more protein.. try and have a piece of whole wheat toast with peanut butter with your breakfast and try making peanut butter crackers for snacks (verrry good)

Have you tried Cream of Wheat?

It's really yummy and good for you.

I like it with a little butter and some brown sugar.

eat lots of fiber. frosted mini wheats, oatmeal, grits all work for me!

Protein will definately fill you up. Try snacking on nuts and cheese, you can eat hard-boiled eggs, or luncheon meat.
Maybe make a chicken salad: chicken, celery, mayo, salt/pepper. Add mayo to a can of tuna, spread on toast, top with cheese and broil or microwave til cheese melts. Just be sure to eat high protein.

it might be alittle bit of a hassle to make in the morning, but I make scrambled eggs and sausage every day. it's a double dose of protein. usually i eat it with toast with peanut butter and orange juice. keeps me full till dinner (when i forget lunch- which is baad).
with that meal you get protein (eggs, sausage, pb) vitamins (orange juice) and carbs (toast)
plus, I always feel great after eating. just dont over-eat- make the right portion for you

I am the same way. I found a recipe that I created and it fills me up completely!

Take a piece of bread and take the crusts off if you don't like the crust. And on a thin layer of canned chicken (make sure the chicken is already cooked before you use it. I think all canned chicken is though) and cover with grated cheese. Put in the toaster oven until cheese is melty and the bread is toast-like. It's sooooo good! In fact, I just had it a couple minutes ago and I'm very full!

Eat flavorfull foods. They will fill you up.

Try buying a jar of Pepperoncini or Banana Peppers. When you want a snack, eat a couple of those.

Yeah, I am always hungry, too.

When I need like a snack between meals I usually eat frosted mini wheats. They are like the only thing, besides like chicken or other meats, that can quench my hunger. Hazelnuts are good, too. I eat them a lot.

i would definetly start by keeping hydrated.
but after that apples are very filling yet healthy.
and anything involving peanut butter is very filling [even in small amounts]
try a whole wheat tortilla with peanut butter.
or a whole wheat eggo with peanut butter.
[putting apples or bananas is also good with either of those]
