Cinnamon Bread or Pumpkin bread... I accidentally bought pie filling mix?!

Question: I'm making pumpkin bread and instead of buying regular pumpkin I bought a can of the pumpkin pie filling so I am sure it already has seasonings. Does anyone have a recipe for the bread using pie mix? I dont want to add too much

Or should I be safe and just make cinnamon bread? Do you have a recipe for cinnamon bread??
Thanks A lot

I would use your pie filling and cut back on the spices...

Buttermilk Cinnamon Bread
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 1/2 cups sugar -- divided
2 cups buttermilk,or 1 cup of milk with 1 tsp.vinegar added
2 eggs
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon finely chopped walnuts

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
In a small bowl, combine oil and 1 1/2 cups sugar.
Add buttermilk and eggs; mix well.
Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
Fill two greased 8 x 4 x 2 or five 5 x 2 1/2 loaf pans about one-third full.
Combine cinnamon and remaining sugar; sprinkle half over the batter.
Top with remaining batter and cinnamon-sugar.
Swirl batter with a knife.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Bake at 350° for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool in pans for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack.

Paul's Pumpkin Bars

4 eggs
1 2/3 cups white sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt

1 (3 ounce) package cream
cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, mix the eggs, sugar, oil, and pumpkin with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Stir into the pumpkin mixture until thoroughly combined.

Spread the batter evenly into an ungreased 10x15 inch jellyroll pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in preheated oven. Cool before frosting.

To make the frosting, cream together the cream cheese and butter. Stir in vanilla. Add confectioners' sugar a little at a time, beating until mixture is smooth. Spread evenly on top of the cooled bars. Cut into squares.

no but i would love to make a cream pie with you

look for pumpkin cookies in the cookie section of the cook book it uses any/all mixes and its a good way to use up left overs, the family will steal them offof the rack before they are cooled

I'm sorry, but I don't have a recipe for cinnamon bread, but I would prefer that over pumpkin
