1 large bunch of broccoli – use the flowerets, discard stems
1 small red/purple onion – finely chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Mix all well in a large bowl
Dressing (add just before serving)

Yes, it is faily good, they use the stalks of broccoli instead of cabage, it tastes pretty good

No but it should work. Broccoli is the in the same plant family as cabbage. Slaw sounds like a good way to use the stalks. I already steam the leaves and serve them as greens. Now I have a use for another part of the plant.
