Where can I find Millet in the grocery store?!

Question: I was looking up foods that heal for my boyfriend. He got surery 3 days ago to re-attached the tendons in his finger that got cut open. I read that Millet is really good for healing and it also very calming for women during their periods (it helps alleviate mood swings). I only heard about Millet today and I am really intrigued. I was wondering where I would find it in the supermarket like in what aisle would it might be? I go to a regular ol' pathmark, a & p, stop & shop places. Any help would be great! thanks!

I've never seen it in a regular grocery store but if you have any health food stores in our area or Co-Op stores, I'm sure you'll find it there. If you can't find it locally, you can go to Google and type in millet and it should tell you how to order it on-line.

Hope that helps. The Co-Op stores carry things like cake mixes that are gluten-free, bulk seeds (like your millet). You can find it in the pet section at your grocery store but I don't think it's sanitary enough for humans.

the only place that i have ever seen it was at the pet stores, my birds love it . i wouldn't buy it there for you or your boyfriend though. do you have a health food store near by? try there. good luck!
