Can someone help me divide this cookie recipe?!


Question: INGREDIENTS:

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs

Do i just half the amounts? How do i half 2 1/4 cups flour?
It's supposed to yield 4 dozen cookies. But that's just way too much & we don't like lefovers. So can someone help me half the recipe?

1 1/8 cups all-purpose flour (just estimate 1/2 of the 1/4 cup)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cups chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs

Just halve all the amounts. 2 1/4 cup divided in half is roughly 1 cup, plus 2 tbs.

Sure:

1 1/8 c flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c brown sugar
1/2 c (1 stick) butter, softened
1 egg
1.2 tsp vanilla
3/4 c chocolate cookie crumbs

However, if I were you, I'd bake the whole recipe and freeze the cookies in an airtight container when they are completely cooled.

NO don 't do that get some plastic wrap or wax paper make full batch of cookies put rest in plastic wrap in a long tube shaped roll up and next time you want cookies pull it you of freezer and let thaw out and your ready to cook the cookies
