This recipe takes all the good things we love on pizza and combines them with egg noodles to form a great, one-dish casserole to feed your family
INGREDIENTS
2 cups uncooked egg noodles
1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup sliced pepperoni sausage
16 ounces pizza sauce
4 tablespoons milk
1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Cook noodles according to package directions.
In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with the onion, garlic and green bell pepper. Drain excess fat. Stir in the noodles, pepperoni, pizza sauce and milk, and mix well. Pour this mixture into a 2-quart casserole dish.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 minutes, top with the cheese, then bake for 5 to 10 more minutes
Homemade! Oven fried chicken, mashed taters, biscuits and homemade white gravy, brussel sprouts w/cheese and some peanut butter cake for dessert! So fattening! But so good!

My moms Home made meatloaf with fresh from the garden potatoes, carrots, onions all roasted in the oven til browned and a bit crispy, then she would grate fresh parm on top for a cheesey bite. Also we had fresh sugar snap peas with a bit of garlic butter on them. Then came the fresh biscuits and apple butter she made last fall, hmmm oh and dont forget the fresh strawberry rubarb pie with old style hand crank churned ice cream.
To bad the hand crank ice cream maker got busted in the move, I want real ice cream dang it..lol oh and everything else too. I MISS you mom
Homemade: black bean chicken enchiladas with salsa NOT enchilada sauce
Restaurant: chicken schwarma on pita with a side of Greek pasta salad and hummus from Bella Luna Cafe in Wichita, Kansas
In 1973 my husband and I landed in Luxumborg on New Year's Eve and had lunch the next day at one of the few places open New Year's Day. We ate salad and omelets and white wine at Du Pole Nord. Outside it was chilly and grey and inside it was warm and noisy with happy people eating good food and sooooo European.
But that meal is only one of several thousand and a lot of them were really, really good - maybe 2 or 3 hundred truly memorable.
Eating is a wonderful blessing.
MAC AND CHEESE
what is it
Home Made: My mothers Arroz Amarillo Con Gandules, Steak, and Potatoes (yellow rice w/ pigeon peas) because she uses the old way of cooking yellow rice by cutting up her own peppers and spices rather then using Sofrito, which is what is commonly used these days. With the steak, she seasons it perfectly with Sazon seasoning by Goya as well as Adobo and some Garlic Salt. The potatoes, she peels and mashes herself and they go well with the rice and steak.
Restaurant: I love the Country Fried Chicken from Texas Roadhouse because it's hand battered and fried to a golden crisp and topped with cream gravy. And, with that you get a choice of two sides. My picks of sides are a baked sweet potato and steak fries. It goes well together.
im asian and this might sound too simple, but the best meal is my mom's Sambal Fried Rice.
it got the sambal+shredded pieces of fried fish(normally mackerel minus the bone)+rice+carrot n peas+fried egg.
