How long per side for grilled salmon?!

Question: fillets, not steaks...about 1/2 inch thin.

Answers: fillets, not steaks...about 1/2 inch thin.

rule of thumb is 10 minutes per inch of fish so a 1/2 in thick piece of fish would be a couple of minutes per side to reach about 5 minutes total cooking but always check. grill heat, and moisture in fish all will have an effect. Anyway, till it flakes easily. Once you test it and run into a piece that is partially raw, you will clearly see the difference.

Good sauce for salmon. reduce 6 ounces of cola by half. add 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 teaspoon of hot sauce. if you like, add some toasted peacans or walnuts to the sauce.

cook 10 min in each side

Bubbles gave a pretty good answer. Depends on how hot the grill is. I like mine just barely cooked through. Fish is often overcooked.

2-3 minutes per side depending upon the thickness.

you do not want to over cook salmon. for a 1/2 inch fillet i would grill it for 6 to 7 minutes on med high heat for each side. grill the skin side first.
sqirt it with some lemon and eat.
