Does chili taste better when left to simmer in the crock pot?!

Question: Thanks

Answers: Thanks

Yes- it's best when the top starts to dry out a just little and get crusty. There's nothing wrong with mushy beans, but if you're using canned try adding only part first so they'll cook down and make the chili thick. Add the rest later so they'll just get hot.

Yes, but don't cook it too long. It can go for quite a while on low in a crock pot.

Yes but don't add the beans until the end or they will turn to mush!!!!

Chili, spaghetti sauce, soups, stews, etc. always taste better when left to simmer on low in a crock pot.

Oh, yes! The ingredients need time to get to know one another!

yes,,,.. better also left over for the next 4 days..

Not only does it taste better, but it's maintenance free. You can leave it w/o worrying about anything sticking to the bottom and burning.

Chili, soup, stew- Any dish with multiple ingredients always tastes better with longer cooking times. Allows the flavors to "marry"
