How long would you cook a 2 1/2 Lb. Beef Tenderloin in a crock pot?!

You have beef TENDERLOIN and you want to ruin it by crock potting it? Don't waste a good cut of beef by slow cooking it, that's how you cook cheaper cuts of beef.

I hate today's crockpots as for they cook way too hot and fast, unlike the original crockpots which were really a real slow cooker.
Place beef in a roasting pan. Sprinkle with Lipton onion soup or seasonings, cover with 1 can of golden mushroom soup or 1 can of beef gravy.
Bake in SLOW (185 degree) oven uncovered about 2 hours. Peek after the first hour and flip beef over. Cook covered the last hour with loose foil if it is cooking too slowly.
Transfer beef to a warm, deep serving platter. Cover with the sauce/juices and keep warm. Let set up for 15 minutes.
if you really have to do it that way, cook it with a can of diced tomatoes, italian seasoning, white wine, garlic, a little black pepper, beef base or cubes, and sliced onions.
i usually cook it all day with lipton onion soup,carrots and potatoes! throw it in around 9:00 and we eat around 4:30! tastes great and really tender!
