Substitute?!

Question: A reciepe calls for 2 cups all-purpose biscuit baking mix, but I don't have any. What can I use for a substitute? It's for cookies btw.

Baking mix substitute:

1 cup flour
1-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon shortening

Blend all the ingredients together and use as a substitute. You may have to double the above to get 2 cups worth.

Good luck!
