Here's a recipe i use called the "Yogurt Face Mask". It works pretty much for all skin types and really helps to hydrate my dry skin. Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:
1 tbsp natural yogurt, room temperature (not lowfat or non-fat)
1 tsp liquid honey (microwave for a few minutes to soften hardened honey)

Preparation:
Combine mixture, then apply to face.
Let sit for 15 minutes.
Wash face with steaming washcloth.
For dry skin, use an extra tsp of honey.
Oily skin? Add a few drops of fresh lime juice.

Lemon Hair Spray recipe
This is simple, but it works well. It also adds body to fine, limp hair, and it gives light hair added shine.

2 lemons, sliced
2 cups hot water

Place lemon slices and water in a glass or enamel pan and bring to a boil. Immediately reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, until the water is reduced to 1 cup - about 30 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.

Line a strainer with cheesecloth and strain the mixture. Squeeze the cloth out thoroughly to get all the juice. Pour the strained mixture into a pump-type container. Mixture will keep for 1 to 2 months in the refrigerator.

this also works for my hair:
Baking Soda Rinse recipe
1/2 cup baking soda
1 cup warm water

Dissolve baking soda in warm water. Pour over hair after shampooing. Massage into the hair and scalp for several minutes, then rinse. This will efficiently clean and shine the hair
