Does chilli freeze well?!
If you freeze your chili in a big lump (like in a bowl) it will be much harder to reheat. You'll burn the stuff on the outside before the inside's even lukewarm. That's why you flatten it in plastic bags. Even if you're reheating it in a pan on the stove, this method is still preferable.
Answers: Yes. Let it cool off a little so it's barely warm or cool. Put individual servings into zip-top plastic bags and spread the chili out in them so it's in a fairly thin layer. Lay them flat to freeze. Once they're frozen solid, you can stack them up or store them vertically like books. To reheat them, take one out and run the sealed plastic bag under warm water for a few seconds. Open the bag and deposit the chili into a bowl. Heat it in the microwave.

yes it does
Very well.
Depending on the chili, yes. You may need to add some water when reheating it.
Yes it does. Just remember that in the defrosting process there will appear to be more "water" than before, but this is normal and will be incorporated into your finished product as it reheats.
Yes, it doesn, but remember that freezing for a long time will intinsify the spices in it...
i dont no but why are u freezing chili if u need to save it u can put it in the fridge unless ur preparing a certain dish then i dont no
I think it should be fine. Follow this guidelines :)
Storing:
All foods should be tightly wrapped (ideally in multiple layers) to prevent freezer burn.
Squeeze the air out of all packages before freezing. But leave about half an inch of space above casseroles, soups or sauces, as these expand when frozen.
Don't jam your freezer full; allow air to circulate among the packages for optimum temperature control.
Thawing:
Meats and poultry should be fully thawed in the fridge (not on the counter) before cooking; a good rule of thumb is about eight hours per pound of meat; four per pound of poultry.
Speed-thaw smaller foods either submerged in water, or under running water. Certain foods, like shrimp, can be cooked while still semi-frozen.
Frozen foods, once thawed, should not be re-frozen; the taste and texture will suffer
Yes, chili does freeze well. Last night I thawed chili from my freezer! Mmmmm....
YES- it is a great meal to freeze and eat later.
Yes, but when you reheat/thaw it, don't overcook or it will get dry and the beans won't be good.
Yes it does. I freeze it every time I make it. just defrost and heat-en.
