Am I the only one who still uses Lard almost exclusively?!
Answers: When a recipe requires oil to fry in, I almost exclusively use Lard!

I can honestly say that I have never even considered using lard...we're butter people!!
We stopped using it when other members of the family went vegetarian and then found olive oil was much nicer anyway. It's a healthier fat too.
The only thing I use lard for is biscuits. It's my understanding that lard is one of the less healthy fats; however, it makes ridiculously superb biscuits.
Your not the only one but fewer and fewer people use lard.There are so many more healthful fats than lard.
I don't use it exclusively but I alwas use it to fry my donuts, it is a must, they taste so much better than when I use crisco or anything else.
