If i added whipped cream a bit soon on melted chocolate what can i do to bring it back to its whipped state?!
Answers: The recipe said to wait for the chocalate to cool. I thought it did until i mixed in the whipped cream. While i was folding in the cream the consistency felt a bit mushy ... I put it in the refrigarator immediately. I've done this recipe a million times and this is the only time its turned mushy... i know why it did but help! :(
I would whisk the mix that you have made in a bowl over boiling water until its just chocolate and cream. Whip some cream separately, and wait for that mixture to cool COMPLETELY!! Then fold them together. Essentially you will be folding into a ganache, which is just a bit softer than normal chocolate- and you will still get a great mousse. : )
No way to re-whip it now, just add more!!
nothing.
You can't rewhip whipped cream. Let it cool and try adding it again. If that doesn't work you'll have to start over.
nothing you can do about it hun.
no, i don't think so
After looking at your avatar, I'm not sure, but can think of various possibilities.
Sorry. There's nothing you can do.
i think you need to wait more for the chocolate to cool more.. it will not definitely harden in a room temperature..
or try putting your bowl in an another bowl of cold water while mixing the whipped cream on..i think it might help
