You have missed it. Stop your time traveling now! We told you that before, it screws up the whole space/time continuum.

And you will be arrested on the spot if you make pancakes and don't think you can get crepes by us either.

Thank YOU for the laugh and also for the pick.
Now, go eat some pancakes! Report It

Here is a recipe for a funky pancake...there is a video link below if you want to see how to cook it.

    Besan Puda(Gram flour)

Besan (Gram Flour) Puda (Dosa) (like a thin pancake)

    Makes 5 or 6 pudas:

    Ingredients:
Mix together in a bowl with a spoon:
    1-cup besan or gram flour
    1/4 cup rice flour
    1 tsp salt
    3/4 cup water
    Add in:
    1/2 tsp cumin seeds
    1 tsp chopped green chilies
1 cup shredded zucchini (shredded with the skin)

about 6 tablespoons of oil to cook 1/3 cup of mixture at a time on a non-stick flat griddle skillet. Put a TBSP of oil sprinkled on the top , turn and pressing down lightly all around with a spatula and flip a couple more times. Serve with yogurt , chutney and a little tomato on the side. You can also put shredded cheddar cheese and sliced tomatoes on top when almost done and then flap it over on itself in half like an omelet and flip enough until the cheese is melted.

We're not living in medieval England, eat them when you want.

You have indeed missed Pancake day, it was the Tuesday before last and I still have two withered lemons to prove it.
    Yum - my favourite.
As for it being illegal, you are joking aren't you ?
Although come to think of it there was something in the paper about it being banned somewhere up north after 400 years of happy tossing on health and safety grounds.

You have missed shrove tuesday for this year.

You can make pancakes on any day.

The French call them crepes and have street vendors selling them.

I missed Pancake Day too, so I had them the other day and very nice they were too! Mmmm i could eat some right now!!

yes you have missed it but you can make them any time of the year.
go on make yourself some and enjoy.
    E x

So sorry , you did !!But you can eat them whenever you want; I often make them for my husband; he loves them all year round, so I often make them to cheer him up....bless !

Yeah mate. Sorry, but Shrove Tuesday was Feb. 5th. If you sneak some pancakes into your cupboard maybe you can get away with it. Otherwise I would be careful. Last time my mum tried to make some pancakes she got nicked!(That is just a tad bit exaggerated!!) Good luck with your pancake making mate!

u have missed shrove tuesday but u can make pancakes anytime there is no law against it its not illegal

The pancake police will have you if you do, you know what their like.

Only if you have your pancake licence. Gordon Brown has issued a decree that you now need a licence to smoke and eat pancakes. Forms are available from the Post office.

    Are you clinically obese?

Watch out for the flippin(no pun intended)Pancake Police. They lurk outside kitchen windows..£60 on the spot fine and all frying pans confiscated...be careful...pull the blind down.

I'm afraid so - but muffin and cream day is a week tomorrow, make a note so you don't miss that one. If you don't have it in your part of the world, you should know it's an old country tradition dating back to the Normans. Honest.

no, you can eat the pancakes...................

You can have Pancakes any time of year. It's only like Christmas when having Turkey, it's just traditional that's all. people eat Turkey any time, it's no different with Pancakes.

    Please..!!!!

Eggs were probably forbidden in Lent as a syncretistic Christian response to Anglo-Saxon practices surrounding the goddess Eostre in the approach to the Spring Equinox.
