if you like mushrooms, this recipe is SO EASY and delicious. my mom used to make it for us as kids and now i make it all the time.

pork chops with mushroom sauce.

pork chops
1 can cream of mushroom condensed soup
1 medium onion, sliced into rings
10 oz white mushrooms, sliced
1.5 cups milk

heat large saute pan. add non-stick cooking spray or oil. brown pork chops for a few minutes on each side. remove from pan and set aside.

add sliced onions and mushrooms to pan. saute until tender. add milk and soup. stir well and heat until boiling, then reduce heat to medium-high. add pork chops back to pan and cook until sauce thickens (another 5-10 mins).

serve over warm rice or egg noodles.

Make Spanish rice---delish!

Make up sage & onion stuffing and spread on top of chop, then add a spoonful of apple sauce and top with grated cheese, place in baking dih and oven bake 45 mins gas 5 - enjoy

Marinate your pork chops in Italian dressing for about 1 hour then roll in Italian style bread crumbs that have Parmesan and Romano cheeses mixed in - bake at 375 degrees F for 45 minutes to 1 hour depending upon how thick/big they are. Serve with smashed potatoes, steamed green beans and/or baby carrots and maybe some gravy. Have some applesauce as an added side - it is easy, fast and very tasty.

apple sauce as a side

spread them with smooth dijon mustard on both sides, season with salt and freshly ground black pepper, then grill till almost caramelized on both sides, delicious.

marinate for as long as you can (but 10 minutes will do!) in a honey and dijon mustard sauce.
Stir fry some vegetables in the same sauce and eat.
It's delicious!!

make stuffed pork chops

With a sharp knife, cut a slit into the non-boned side of the chop, until you can lift the top half over, making what looks like a butterfly

2 slices of whole grain bread, diced
1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup diced carrots
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
salt and pepper to taste
4 pork loin chops

In a medium bowl, stir together the bread pieces, celery, carrots, green onions, egg, chicken broth, sage, and salt and pepper to taste (mixture should be moist.) Place 1/4 of the mixture on one side of the butterflied pork chop. Fold the other side over to enclose stuffing and secure with toothpicks. Season both sides of pork with salt and pepper to taste. Grill over medium-high heat for 7 to 8 minutes per side, or until pork and stuffing are cooked through (internal temperature of stuffing should register 165°F on an instant read thermometer).

there are many ways that pork chops are good. You can put them in the oven with some BBQ sause and bake for one hour at 400 degrees. You can also do the same thing but put cream of mushroom soup over your chops instead of the BBQ sauce. I also like to fry it. Just sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper on your chops and fry on a little over medium heat. The fried chops are delicious with turnip greens, a baked sweet potato and cornbread.

Bread the pork chops and fry them up in a pan. Serve with double baked cheese potatoes, apples sautéed with cinnamon and sugar, and green beans. YUM.

Brown the chops, & while they cook, make a box of Stovetop Stuffing for Pork. Spray a 9x5 pan & stand the chops in with the bone edge down. Pack the stuffing in between the chops. Cover with foil & bake 35-45 min at 350. Uncover & bake 10-15 minutes., Its great with those little 4" corn cobs, some type of salad, & dinner rolls.

grill your chops then once cooked put apple sauce on top, then grated cheese then put under the grill to melt the cheese.Hubby sometimes has it with bbq instead of apple sauce.
