3. Cook for about 15 minutes.
4. Uncover the pan.. cook for another 5-10 minutes to brown the chicken...

Use an instant read thermometer . 165 degrees
Chicken breasts should take about 30-40 minutes in a moderately hot (350) oven. To check if they're done, prick them with a fork. The juice that comes out will be clear. If it's even a little pink, then they need to cook a little more. Hope this helps.
Do you have a cast iron skillet? If not, go and get one. Season it first or get a pre-seasoned one.
Set the oven to 400
Heat the skillet on the stovetop. HOT but not too high if it is electric.
