Chicken whats the best way to cook it in the oven, and what's a good way to tell if it's done?!


Question: Chicken breasts with no skin doest take much of time to cook.

1. marinade your chicken breasts. Put it on the pan
2. Heat the oven into medium heat (170-180c). cover the pan With foil.
3. Cook for about 15 minutes.
4. Uncover the pan.. cook for another 5-10 minutes to brown the chicken...
5. Enjoy

tell if it's done

1. No, more sizzle.. .. well done (kind of dry)
2. when you push it .... spongy ... medium ( i love this )

Note : Don't cooked for to long, Chicken breast is kind of dry part of the chicken.. so medium is perfect

Use an instant read thermometer . 165 degrees

Chicken breasts should take about 30-40 minutes in a moderately hot (350) oven. To check if they're done, prick them with a fork. The juice that comes out will be clear. If it's even a little pink, then they need to cook a little more. Hope this helps.

Do you have a cast iron skillet? If not, go and get one. Season it first or get a pre-seasoned one.

Set the oven to 400

Heat the skillet on the stovetop. HOT but not too high if it is electric.

Season the chicken breast with kosher salt, black pepper and coat lightly with olive oil

Add a very small amount of oil to the pan.

Place the chicken breasts in the pan upsidedown
Don't splatter hot oil on you

Let it sear for 2-3 min or until nicely browned

Turn breasts over and place pan in oven middle rack for about 8 minutes.

If the chicken has bones cooking time will increase

If the breasts are boneless and very thin it can be completed on the burner
