What can I use for a substitute for creme de menthe?!

Question: I'm baking a mint chocolate cheesecake, and i'm looking for something to substitute for the creme de menthe. I'm thinking mint extract, but i'm not sure how much. Can anyone help me?

If it calls for 1/4 cup of cream de mente, use about 1 tsp of mint extract.

How much creme de menthe did the recipe call for? Extract is stronger, so maybe use half as much.

If you have peppermint Schnapps you can use that in the same quantity as the Creme de Menthe.

Mint extract is good.
1 teaspoon extract.

Use any good liquour you have around and about the same amount. It will work. Mint extract is also OK but use only about 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. Then tast your cheese filling to see if you need a little more.

Uh, Scope?

Mint extract, yes. But you need to add some milk or half and half to duplicate the texture and flavor of the creme de menthe.

It ill taste great without the mint.
