Bean soup issue?!

Question: I bought a few packages of that bean soup mix that has like 12 different kinds of beans in it. I filled a pot with water and let them soak overnight. Well, I am pregnant and I have really bad morning sickness and did not feel like cooking them the next day, so I just left them in the pot. This morning I took the lid off and the beans have soaked up all of the water and a bunch of them started sprouting!!! Can I still make soup with them or should I just go plant them outside???

LOL...you've germinated! Just toss the sprouting beans and start over. Nobody will know the difference!

Don’t make the soup. If you didn’t have the energy to cook, I don’t think you’ll be planting. I only planted beans so my son could see it grow. I don’t think you can actually get beans from the plant very quickly. A lot of effort involved when you can easily run to the store for a bag.

I would not eat them. But sure, plant them. you have nothing to lose, and it would be cool to grow your own.
