Can i use caster sugar instead of white sugar?!

Question: Would it work>?

Answers: Would it work>?

Caster sugar is just finer ground than normal sugar so i don't see why not.

It's the same, only finer.

Yes

yes - in fact it will be better

I think it depends on what you're using the sugar for. If you were gonna put it on your cornflakes, I'd say white sugar, but if you're gonna put it in a cake, I'd say either!

I use it for all my baking because I find the British granulated sugar to be too gritty. Your baking will all be much better with caster sugar.

Yes you can. Caster sugar is the same as standard granulated white sugar only it's ground a little more to make it finer.

Caster sugar is often used in baking as because it's finer it mixes easily or dissolves quicker.

yes i have made banana loaf with caster sugar.

Good luck
