Can you tell me what this means please?!

Question: I have a receipe for shortbread, and it says ' pour mixture into an 8 inch pan which has been greased and lined with parchment paper'.

Does it mean i grease the pan and put the parchment on top then put my mixture in? Does it mean i grease the pan put the parchment in grease the parchment then put my mixture in? Or does it mean i put the parchment in the pan and greese the parchment then put my mixture in?

Please help me! Thanx in advance!

Grease the pan, then line with parchment paper. I actually use parchment paper all the time and never grease the pan. It’s not necessary. The only thing the grease does is keep the paper stuck to the pan so that doesn’t wiggle when you add the batter.

Grease pan then put parchment paper in. That's all. :)

grease the pan then place the parchment in the pan and pour the batter on top.

Grease the pan and add your paper and then the mix.

It means: grease the pan, put in the parchment paper, grease that too and then pour in the mixture.

lay down your parchment paper and flip the pan over. Trace a circle of the pan on the parchment paper. Cut it out. Grease the pan lay in the parchment circle on the bottom. parchment does not have to be greased as it has a thin non stick coating on it. Pour your mixture on top and bake

means to grease your pan before putting in parchment paper, then put in mixture.

1. grease pan
2. put in parchment paper
3. pour in your mixture

grease pan so parchment paper comes out of the pan easily after you bake

it means greese the sides, and bottom then put the paper in. it keeps the paper in place.

Put the parchement on the pre-greased pan.

And.
