HEDLEY you are so right......When you cook shrimp you must use old bay seasoning....it gives your shrimp the best taste and of course splash everything with lemon.

One jar of Alfredo sauce
pack of Alfredo noodles
red pepper (dash)
garlic
shrimp
Parmesan cheese

cook all ingredients except pasta, until shrimp is tender then serve over cooked pasta and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Or

Sautee onions and bellpepper and garlic in butter then add one table spoon of flower to the butter then stirr until flower starts to darken (not long) then add your shrimp and seasoning, then add one can of Cream of mushroom soup (or cream of shrimp) (or half of each) which ever sounds best to you it all works...you can't mess this up...If it seems really thick you can add just a little water...you want it kind of thick but not to thick....let it all cook till shrimp is tender and serve over rice...I'm from the South and we call this etouffee

or

season some flour, heat up some grease...mix together one egg, a little milk and seasonings...dip shrimp in egg then flour and fry 3 or 4 mins remove sprinkle a little more seasonings on it and serve with hushpuppies and fries....FRIED SHRIMP

try grilling them-taste great when dipped in butter and garlic-the cooking takes most of the butter out

Shrimp salad
1/2 ton, boiled peeled swimps
1/4 ton thinly sliced Bermuda onions
1 tanker truck low-fat catalina salad dressing
Make layers of swimps and onions in a big old dish, starting with onions and ending with swimps. Cover the lot with dressing and let it hang out, covered in the walk-in cooler or reefer for a day or so. Shovel it out on a bushel of shredded lettuce.

Try this:

Shrimp Etouffee
1 lb. salted butter
3 cups diced yellow onion
2 tsp. granulated garlic
2 tsp. white pepper
1 tsp. red pepper
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. chicken base
3/4 cup flour, sifted
1 qt. water
1 lb. cooked shrimp (90-110 ct.)
Chopped green onions for garnish
Saute diced onion, garlic, white pepper, red pepper, salt, and chicken base in salted butter. Cook until onions are tender, then whisk in flour and cook until golden brown. Start adding water gradually and whisk constantly. Cook for another 20 minutes until thick, whisking every few minutes. Add cooked shrimp and toss to mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes to thoroughly heat shrimp. Serve immediately over hot rice and garnish with green onions.

Serves 6-8

Also try this:

Marinade shrimp in teriyaki, garlic, chopped onions, fresh thyme, basil and oregano, and 2 bay leaves. Marinade for about 2 hours at the least. Grill on a barbeque grill, gas is fine, or do on a George Foreman grill. When you turn over about 3 mins later, spread either a homemade barbeque sauce or a favorite from store, turn again and repeat then serve over wild rice with a small salad and french bread.

Home-made Barbeque Sauce:

1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/2 cup worcestershire sauce
1/2 small onion , finely chopped
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon dry mustard
2 garlic cloves , minced
1 dash cayenne pepper (optional)

In large saucepan, combine all ingredients & bring to a boil over medium heat.

Reduce heat & simmer, uncovered, for about one hour. Stir occasionally.
