Question: can I used spread-able butter instead of stick butter?
I really want to make then NOW!
or if i can't how do i make the butter softer faster?

i've used spreadable butter, works fine for me!

You can make butter softer by placing it in the microwave and heating in 10 second intervals at half power until it becomes the texture you desire.
You can also use spreadable butter, yes.

I think you can use spreadable butter i think it won't hurt.And if you wanna make the butter softer just put it in the microwave for like 5 seconds.

depends how much water is in the spreadable butter, is it real butter or margarine or another oil spread. if it says good for baking, go right ahead and use it. If you like softer cookies, you can even use shortening
