Question: how long does it take for chicken to go bad after you defrost it?

I've put it in the fridge directly from the freezer, it's taken about 3 days to thaw and then I use it right away. It's thawed safely since chicken, because of the processing will pick up salmonella rather quickly. So, generally use it as soon as it's thawed.Rinse it off after thawing and before cooking.

Yeah I'd say 24 hours in the fridge is the maximum you'd want to risk. You can always do the "sniff" test - if it smells, throw it out. Normally that's how you're supposed to defrost chicken - in the fridge - never at room temp.

about a day or two

Probably 24 hours or less.

Yes it will still be good, it may not even be completely thawed.

Technically you're supposed to use raw chicken within 24 hours of thawing (if it's been in the fridge the entire time - not if it's at room temp... never thaw chicken at room temperature!).

I'm sure you could get away with a day or two more, but I wouldn't reccommend it.

i would not leave it uncookd for more than 1 1/2-2 days- you could get food poison

Yeah, in fact, it might not even be completely thawed by tomorrow.

yes

It will be ok , just cook as long as it is defrosted and eat same day.

It will be fine,if it smells funny dont use it but it shouldnt

oh yeah I've let chicken in the fridge for 24 hours be or but i wouldn't dare leave it in there for more then 48.

Meat takes forever to thaw in the fridge. The safest and fastest way I know is to place it in the sink (I usually put it in a zipper bag) and fill the sink with COLD water. Thaws in about 2 hours.

up to seven days in the refrigerator after defrosting....not much longer than that

Chicken is good for about 2 days thawed in your fridge....If you took it out today its probably still partially frozen so you'll be good to go...

It'll eat u if u dont cage it.

A couple of days but it will be good till tommorow but i wouldnt keep it no longer than that...

Yes. that is the correct way to defrost chicken, not out on the counter. If it smells nasty, don't use it though. I think up to about 36 hours in the fridge would be safe, not a lot longer than that though.
