My fry chicken is pink in the middle, help!?!

Question: I would fry it to the golden color you want and throw it in the oven for another 30 mins at 375 degrees. I do that with very thick steaks too.

lower the temp of the fryer or the oil, and use a lower fat sugar batter b/c it will burn fast then not cook the middle.

cook it more.

Put it in a 350 oven for about 25-30 minutes

Chicken or pork that is not completely cooked may make you very ill. I agree with covering and cooking at a lower temperature. Uncover and raise heat for about 5 min. on each side to get crispy.

It is not done, you cooked it too fast, I bet that the outside is golden brown and looks done, turn the temp down and cook a bit longer.

I actually boil my chicken for about 20 min. before I coat it and fry it. Then you don't come out with the pink middle.

its not done yet

take the chicken out of the fry pan place on baking sheet and bake for 10-15 mins or until juices run clear
350* oven

if your already done w/ it but it's still pink , pop it in the microwave for a couple of minutes , this will finish it off , i used to put large pieces of chix in the microwave for 5 min or so b-4 i started to cook it

Its still raw (uncooked) in the middle so you just need to cook it for about 5 more minutes max. Dont worry about it burning as it wont start to burn until its cooked all the way through.

If the outside is done but the middle is not, you probably cooked it too high. You just have to turn down the temperature and cook it longer. The problem with this is the outside will continue to cook too, so you may end up with burnt skin.
